It seems that everywhere you go since the smoking ban came into force, you can see small groups of smokers, come rain or shine, gathering outside the workplace. Companies are increasingly offering support in order to help their employees to give up smoking.  One solution is to bring in a hypnotherapist. 

How does it work?

  • In order to offer you the best solution we first meet and agree on a plan.
  • Then you distribute posters and information and enable your staff to book appointments.
  • You decide whether I come in for preliminary interviews or whether they are conducted on the phone. 
  • You decide whether you want me to come to your premises or you will allow your staff time out to come to me.  You may even provide transport.
  • You decide whether to subsidize their treatment and choose the amount they will pay. It is recommended that you don’t offer this for free as they need to demonstrate commitment and motivation.
  • Treatments range from an hour and a half to two hours depending on whether the preliminary work has been done prior to the appointment.
  • Treatments can be conducted in small groups or on a one to one basis. One to one is definitely preferable as it has a better success rate and sometimes a patient may have underlying issues that unexpectedly come to the surface.  Tears and other responses do sometimes occur.
  • Three to four sessions per day is a realistic number to aim for depending on the amount of preliminary work needed.
  • My day rate to your company is £600.00, some of which you will recover from your staff if you are offering a subsidy. 
  • I will provide all the information you will require to run a successful smoking cessation program.
